Shimano SM-AD91 Front Derailleur Clamp Info

The Shimano SM-AD91 Front Derailleur Clamp lets you run a braze-on front derailleur on a round seat tube — a straightforward solution when your frame lacks a braze-on mount. Machined from aluminum, the hinged clamp accepts a standard braze-on derailleur fixing bolt and is compatible with both mechanical and electronic front derailleurs, Shimano or otherwise.

Two sizes are available. The 34.9mm clamp fits large-diameter seat tubes directly. The 28.6mm variant ships with a shim to bring a 31.8mm clamp down to 28.6mm, covering the most common road and gravel tube diameters in a single package.
