Shimano Dura-Ace BB-R9100 Bottom Bracket Info
The Shimano Dura-Ace BB-R9100 Bottom Bracket is the bottom bracket you want if you have a Shimano crank and a threaded bottom bracket shell.
This bottom bracket is super easy to install, as are the cranks. Just use the correct tool to thread in the right-side cup, then insert the sealing sleeve, then thread in the left side. There are arrows on the cups telling you which direction to tighten the cups. There are Italian (68mm) - and English (70mm) -threaded versions. The external cups house efficient, small ball bearings, and the cups are sealed. The adjusting you do once the cranks are installed and before fixing the clamp bolts on the left arm. Weight is 65g
Shimano cranks have 24mm thru-axles. As such, any Shimano crank should fit this bottom bracket. The finish is designed to match the current Dura-Ace 9100 cranks, but it works with the 9000-series Dura-Ace as well as earlier DA, and modern Ultegra and 105 cranks, basically any 24mm thru-axle crank.
The Shimano Dura-Ace BB-R9100 Bottom Bracket is simple, light, and strong, and the wide gap between the bearings helps stiffen the bottom bracket-crank interface.
