The Selle Italia SLR Elite Saddle brings the SLR family's proven silhouette to a mid-tier build centered on a carbon composite shell, steel rails, and Selle Italia's Superflow central channel. The Superflow cutout runs through the center of the saddle to relieve pressure in the perineal area on long efforts — a feature that distinguishes the SLR Elite from more basic saddles in the same price bracket.

The shell is constructed from carbon composite and high-grade nylon polymer, giving it the stiffness of a premium platform at a weight of 170g for the S3. Fibra-Tek — Selle Italia's technical microfiber cover material — wraps the shell with a micro-perforated finish that's both durable and low-weight. PU padding underneath provides a measured amount of comfort without adding unnecessary bulk. The high-strength 7mm steel rails are chosen specifically for their ability to absorb road vibration while keeping weight in check.
