The Selle Italia SLR 3D Elite Saddle brings Carbon DLS (Digital Light Synthesis) 3D printing to the SLR platform — one of the most proven shapes in road saddles. In place of conventional foam, a proprietary lattice structure is printed directly beneath the cover: a dedicated Selle Italia pattern with differentiated cushioning zones that vary in density and compliance across the surface. The result is progressive pressure absorption that conventional manufacturing can't replicate — more give where soft tissue loads, firmer support where power transfers through the sit bones.
Rails are high-strength tubular steel at 7mm diameter, keeping weight to 172g for the S3 (130mm width) and 178g for the L3 (145mm). The SLR 3D Elite is available in Superflow — Selle Italia's central relief channel design for riders who need pressure relief along the perineum — and Neutral for riders who prefer a flat surface without the channel cutout. Both shapes share the same 248mm length. This is a road-specific saddle, sitting one step below the SLR 3D Carbon (which swaps steel rails for carbon) and above the conventionally constructed SLR Carbon.
