Carrying your repair kit in a re-purposed water bottle is an old pro trick. PRO was hip do it, and created a Toolbottle that does the same thing, only better.

The Toolbottle is a storage container that fits in your water bottle cage. Rather than a rubber band and rag covering the top, or the top of a second repurposed water bottle, PRO has a screw lid. Far more secure.

This is a pretty roomy solution to carrying repair gear, so long as you don’t need to carry a second bottle. You’ll have room for two tubes, and more tools, and, if you still have a rattling sound, a rag or more gear. It’s also pretty practical in a few ways. For one, the weight is lower, so it affects the feel of riding much less. For another, it’s faster and easier to access than a seat bag. And, it won’t ruin shorts or saddles or seatposts.

The capacity is 500 cubic centimeters. It fits into 74mm diameter water bottle cages.
