Typically known for their gravel bikes, OPEN decided to transfer some of their off-road innovation into a performance road machine. The integrated seattube has a diameter of just 25mm, creating one of the most comfortable saddle experiences available. The tube and post blend uninterrupted, removing overlap between the two, making the compliance of the frame more effective. The seat to bar reach combines comfort and speed while also blending solid stability with quick agility. As one would expect from an OPEN bike, the MIN.D has the ability to veer off the road. Years of experience experimenting with gravel bikes were considered when dialing in the pure road bike geometry of the OPEN MIN.D. This resulted in testing various headtube and chainstay lengths before settling on what OPEN feels is a new generation of road handling. They also found an incredibly efficient tube shape which resulted in low weight and high strength. This leads to incredible power transfer and speed, making the OPEN MIN.D far more than just a comfortable road bike. The Wire Thin chainstays are extremely narrow, providing unbeatable vertical compliance and powerful forward propulsion. An evolution of the OPEN U-Turn Fork, this bike utilizes the R-Turn Fork. This fork takes away any need for an adapter when switching between 140mm and 160mm rotors, taking away unnecessary weight and adding to the control of the bike.
