The Muc-Off Dry Chain Degreaser works to eliminate grease and gunk on your chain without the use of water or needing to rinse it. That may sound improbable, but it will be able to cut through oil, grease and sticky grime within minutes of being sprayed on your chain.

All you do is make sure you are in a well-ventilated area before using it, shake the can vigorously to activate the formula, and spray on the chain and selected areas. If there are particularly dirty spots, you can take a brush or cloth and wipe them off. It will even work on waterproof chain lube and waxy residue. The degreaser will then evaporate, and leave your parts clean and ready for a new layer of lubrication.

The Dry Chain Degreaser will work on chains, gears, derailleurs, and individual components. But please keep in mind, this is serious stuff. If your bike has a non-factory finish, Muc-Off suggests testing it first on a inconspicuous spot to make sure it won’t damage the paint job. And of course ingesting it in any way, or inhaling it can be very, very bad for your health, so do please avoid doing that.
