This version is made to accommodate riders with rider feet, providing an extra 15mm at the ball of the foot compared to the standard version. The sole of these shoes is made with 100 percent carbon fiber. This high-stiffness material contributes to the power riders need on a sprint while simultaneously dropping the weight. Lake utilized a double sole system with a semi-flexible inner sole paired with a rigid outer sole. This system allows for maximum power to be put into the pedals without sacrificing comfort. Extra flexibility in the sole also helps avoid foot numbness or pain. The upper is made with Clarino Microfiber with mesh for a form fitting and secure hold.
