The Giordana Women's FR-C Thermal Bib Knicker is a mid-calf bib knicker for cooler rides, made for riders who want warmth without committing to full winter tights. Giordana positions it for high-intensity training and riding in milder climates.
Fabric and temperature control
The knicker uses 250g Blizzard, a high-stretch, abrasion-resistant fabric with an Acqua Zero water repellent treatment. A brushed thermal interior covers the thighs, the front of the shins and the lower back, the spots Giordana chose to retain warmth. Breathable panels begin at the front of the knee and wrap around the calf to help regulate temperature on harder efforts. The higher waistline and stretchy bib straps hold the fit, and the upper back is mesh so the bib still breathes under a jersey and jacket. Two reflective stripes on the back of the calves add visibility, and elastic cuffs at the mid calf keep the hems stable.
Women's chamois
The pad is the OmniForm Cirro S-W, Giordana's top-line women's chamois, infused with aloe and treated to be anti-microbial. The saddle panel is ceramic coated for abrasion resistance, includes a Cordura panel insert, and has a soft brushed microfiber interior. Body Clone technology gives the snug fit across the FR-C line, which Giordana designed to sit close to the body like a second skin.
It is made in Italy from 85% nylon and 15% elastane, in black, Poseidon blue and cedar green. Sizes run from XS to 3XL. Care is a machine wash at 40°C or less on a reduced cycle, no bleach or iron, and hang or lay flat to dry.
