Giordana Women's EU Sport Bib Shorts Info

The Giordana Women's EU Sport Bib Shorts are a training bib built with a minimal number of panels, which Giordana says makes them an incredibly comfortable, all-around performance short. It is a European exclusive design, aimed at everyday training rides.

Single-panel legs and SilverLine bands

Each leg is made from one panel of soft, compressive Italian lycra for support and light compression. The leg bands are Giordana's SilverLine, a woven elastic with reflective trim that the brand says stretches and stays in place without constricting. The fabric is 170 gram Italian spandex, 80% nylon and 20% spandex, with a 50+ UPF rating.

Women's-specific chamois

The pad is the Cirro W, a women's chamois with aloe vera infusion and four-layer construction. The women's bib comes in black and midnight blue, in sizes S through XL, and is made in Italy.

The RA Perspective

This is the women's version of Giordana's EU Sport bib, and the main difference you will feel is the chamois. The Cirro W is a four-layer pad with aloe vera infusion, made for women, and it is the part of a bib that decides whether you want to keep riding after the second hour.

The rest of the design is deliberately simple. Fewer panels means fewer seams, and the one-piece legs in compressive Italian lycra are meant to give light support without any fuss. The SilverLine leg bands are woven elastic with reflective trim, which Giordana designed to stay put without squeezing. The 50+ UPF fabric is a plus on summer rides.

As for tradeoffs, this is an everyday training bib, not a race-line piece, so riders who want a very firm, high-compression feel or the extra construction work of the FR-C range may want to look higher up the collection. The reflective trim sits only on the leg bands, so low-light riding still calls for lights. Sizing runs S through XL, which is narrower than the men's range, so check the size chart before you order.
