Giordana The Jetty Rain Jacket Info

The Giordana The Jetty Rain Jacket is a waterproof rain jacket from the Giordana x Kristopher Brock PER TUTTI I TERRENI capsule collection. Giordana describes it as made for every rider, every terrain and every downpour, with a modern, sporty look that works on and off the bike.

Construction

The shell is a three-layer, waterproof fabric, and the seams are taped, which is how Giordana gets to a 100% waterproof shell. A drawstring hood and a drawstring waist let you lock the fit in when the weather turns. There is a front chest pocket for essentials.

Sizing and design

Sizing is unisex and covers XS through 2XL. In Giordana's photos, Richard wears a medium and Maira wears an extra small. The jacket carries collaboration branding from designer Kristopher Brock and was, in Giordana's words, dreamt in California and made in Italy.

Colors are Khaki, Meteorite Black and Meteorite Black with Reflective.

The RA Perspective

The Jetty is the most weather-ready piece in the Giordana x Kristopher Brock capsule. It is a three-layer shell with taped seams, and Giordana calls it fully waterproof. That puts it in a different category from the wind layers and light shells most riders carry.

We like that it is cut for both riding and everyday wear. A drawstring hood and a drawstring waist let you snug it down when the wind picks up, and the chest pocket gives you a place for a phone or keys. The Meteorite Black with Reflective version is the one to look at if you commute or ride at dusk, since the extra visibility is built into the jacket.

The tradeoff is that the supplier does not give breathability details or a packed size, so we would treat this as a dedicated rain jacket rather than an all-day layer you wear in dry weather. A fully waterproof three-layer shell with taped seams tends to be a heavier-feeling piece than a light wind shell, and at this price the buyer is paying for the collaboration and the construction as much as the spec.

If you want one jacket for wet days that looks good off the bike too, this is a strong option. Sizing is unisex, so check the size chart and the photos of the models in medium and extra small to get a feel for the cut.
