Giordana Men's EU Sport Bib Shorts Info

The Giordana Men's EU Sport Bib Shorts are an everyday training bib that Giordana built with a minimal number of panels, which it says makes them an incredibly comfortable all-around performance bib. Each leg is cut as a single panel from soft, compressive Italian lycra, giving support and light compression on training rides.

Leg bands and fabric

The standout feature, per Giordana, is the SilverLine leg band: a woven elastic band with reflective trim that is soft, sturdy and designed to stay in place without squeezing. The shorts fabric is a 170 gram Italian spandex (80% nylon, 20% spandex) with a 50+ UPF rating.

Chamois and fit options

The pad is Giordana's Cirro chamois, a four-layer design with Aloe Vera infusion. The men's version comes in black and midnight blue, in sizes S through 2XL, and is made in Italy.

The RA Perspective

Giordana's EU Sport bib is built around a simple idea: fewer panels, fewer seams, and a bib you do not think about once you are on the bike. Each leg is one piece of compressive lycra, and the SilverLine leg bands are designed to stay put without cutting in.

For a lot of riders, a bib like this is the one that goes in the bag most often. The Cirro chamois is a four-layer pad with Aloe Vera infusion, which suits long weekday training rides and weekend group rides. The 50+ UPF rating on the fabric is a useful extra for sunny days, and the reflective trim on the leg bands adds a little visibility at dawn or dusk.

There are a few tradeoffs. This is positioned as a training and everyday bib, not Giordana's top race line, so the construction is simpler than the FR-C Pro pieces. The reflective detail is limited to the leg bands, so it is not a replacement for proper lights and brighter clothing in low light. And since the compression is light rather than aggressive, riders who like a very firm, race-style squeeze might prefer something higher up the range.

For everyday miles, we would see this as a comfortable and dependable pair, with sizes from S through 2XL and two colors to pick from.
