When Deda came up with the 35mm handlebar clamp diameter, they saw it as a way to offer something better. With their Superleggera 35 Carbon Handlebar they can provide both greater stiffness and less weight, while retaining comfort.

Comfort comes in the form of their RHM, Rapid Hand Movement compact bend. The reach is 75mm, the drop 130mm, and the shape is a rounded ergo hook that has a smooth transition from the end to the brake levers. And for the big-mitted among us, the oversized top section is far easier to grasp. You also route your cables in a channel underneath the bar, keeping the bar shape round, and even making it easy to run the tops without tape if you so desire.

Stiffness comes from the oversized and extended 35mm center section. It reaches from the transition to the hook on the left to the same area on the right. This greater diameter, remember you need a stem with a 35mm handlebar clamp to work with this stem.

Lightness comes from the HR40 carbon-fiber deployed in wrapping this bar’s shape. It’s stiff, durable, and light. Really light. 180g for the 42cm width.
