Capo Super Corsa Avanti Jersey - Men's Info

The Capo Super Corsa Avanti Jersey - Men's is a race-inspired short sleeve cycling jersey with a clean design and a technical fabric spec. Capo builds it from Super Leggero microfiber, a lightweight, smooth-faced fabric that Capo says combines aerodynamics, quick moisture transfer and a form-fitting, stretchy feel.

Ventilation and fit

Eyelet Mesh microfiber panels are placed in strategic spots to move air on hard efforts. The fabric blend is 86% polyamide and 14% elastane, and Capo's own waist elastic holds the hem in place when you are down on the bars. Reflective inserts add some visibility when the light fades.

Pockets and zipper

Three rear pockets carry food, a layer and a phone. The full-length YKK zipper has a lockable puller, so you can open it for a long climb and it will stay where you leave it. The jersey is made in Italy and comes in Dark Cherry Stripe, Midnight Blue Stripe and Dark Lago Stripe, in sizes S through XXL.

The RA Perspective

The Avanti is the Super Corsa jersey for riders who want a race-style cut without a lot of fuss. The graphic is clean, the stripes come in three muted colors, and the fabric is the point: a light, smooth microfiber that Capo designed for speed and fast moisture movement.

We like the combination of Super Leggero on the body and Eyelet Mesh in the high-heat zones. A jersey that is all one fabric either runs too warm on climbs or feels thin when you are rolling along. Splitting the job between two fabrics is a sensible way to handle both. The lockable zipper is also worth noting, because cheap zippers creep down on rough roads and this one is built not to.

The tradeoff is the fit. Capo calls the fabric form-fitting, and the jersey is race inspired, so it is cut close. If you prefer a relaxed jersey for long, casual days, try it on first or size with that in mind. It is also a summer-weight piece. It will cover warm and mild days, but cooler mornings call for arm warmers or a vest.

This is the jersey for group rides, fast training days and events where you want to look sharp and stay ventilated. Pair it with Capo bibs from the same Super Corsa line and the kit matches.
