The Bianchi Impulso has long been a staple in the gravel community, known for its ability to adventure combined with excellent speed. This Pro version of the Impulso is for riders who want speed on their gravel fondo or daily ride without breaking the bank or losing adventure ability. Aerodynamic performance, low weight, and off-road capability all had to be included with no compromise. With in-house made Velomann Terbium wheels, this bike is Bianchi from top to bottom. It is equipped with a Shimano GRX 820 12-speed mechanical groupset which is great for performance gravel riding. The Bianchi Impulso Pro brings speed to any terrain.
Bianchi’s bikes are always centered around speed and comfort. The Impulso is no different, taking aerodynamic hints from Bianchi road bikes like the Oltre and Specialissima. The frame is packed with aero features and pairs with an integrated fork and aerodynamic wheels. The frame utilizes an aero head profile and seatstays, helping to efficiently guide airflow around the bike. Using a diamond shape for the tubes helps promote aero flow while still having the compliance needed for a gravel ride. There are no bag or bottle mounts sticking out and slowing you down. A D-shaped seatpost is also centered around aero performance balances this out with the perfect compliance for mixed terrain. Using their standard carbon fiber, the Impulso Pro gives riders RC technology at a lower price.
Even with such a focus put into speed the Bianchi Impulso remains as capable as any gravel bike on mixed terrain. When it is time to hit race speed on a gravel course, control comes to the forefront of importance. The bar features 16-degree flare, helping riders get more control on technical descents. Its geometry is also built around a longer wheelbase, promoting stability at high speeds. A shorter stem and longer reach help keep the rider confident on bumpier sections. The bottom bracket drop has been set to 70mm, balancing a stable feel and aggressive experience. With 42mm of tire clearance, you can be ready for anything. The Bianchi Impulso Pro is a force on nearly any terrain.
