The Assos Trail Knee Protectors are built for riders who spend real time on technical terrain and want knee coverage that moves with them rather than fighting against them. The outer shell uses dyneRope Ripstop fabric — a dense, reinforced weave designed for durability against abrasion from trail slides, rocks, and branches — while the rear panel uses Assos Titanium fabric for softness and flexibility where you need it most. Despite the protection on offer, the construction remains breathable and includes UV protection, keeping the sleeves viable across warmer riding conditions.
The sleeve format means fit stays close to the knee without bulk, and the material composition — a nylon-elastane-polyethylene blend — gives enough stretch to stay in place through sustained climbing and descending without restricting movement. These are designed for trail riding where a fall is a matter of when, not if.
