A midweight double-knit construction covers the brow and ears where heat loss and wind chill hit hardest, while the rest of the cap is engineered to ventilate well enough to keep you from overheating on sustained efforts.
The fit has been updated to sit more naturally under a helmet, with better accommodation for longer hair — a small detail that makes a real difference when you're pulling a helmet on at the trailhead.
