The defining update in the S11 is the extension of Buster textile to the back panel. The previous version used a mesh back, which worked fine in pure headwind but left you exposed when a chilly descent or sidewind hit from behind. The new construction deploys Buster — a close-knit woven material with wind-blocking and water-repellent properties — across the entire front and back, while Sens Air side panels maintain elasticity and breathability in the less-exposed zones.
