The Yeti MT XT Di2 Bike w/Carbon Wheels is Yeti's flagship pedal-powered trail bike, built to bring enduro-level capability to a bike you still have to pedal yourself. The MT is only offered in Yeti's top-tier TURQ Series carbon and runs the brand's Sixfinity six-bar suspension — the same platform Yeti developed alongside its World Cup downhill and enduro programs — tuned specifically around the demands of a non-assisted trail bike rather than an eMTB. This XT Di2 build pairs that chassis with Shimano's wireless XT Di2 drivetrain and DT Swiss carbon wheels, putting it toward the higher end of what the MT platform offers.
Sixfinity's six-bar linkage controls both wheel path and shock rate independently, letting Yeti tune acceleration response and braking behavior separately rather than compromising between the two — and the kinematics are tuned per frame size rather than using a single blanket setup. A flip-chip on the shock linkage lets riders adjust the leverage curve between a racier, more consistent feel, a balanced setting, or a plush-then-poppy character with added bottom-out resistance, all without disturbing geometry, anti-squat, or anti-rise. Floating collet bearings and optimized load distribution at the pivots mean the suspension holds up to repeated hard use before needing service, which matters on a bike spec'd for aggressive terrain.
The TURQ-only carbon layup is built on a high-modulus schedule aimed at being both lighter and stronger than Yeti's standard carbon, with a flex profile tuned to damp trail vibration without sacrificing stiffness where it counts. Yeti also built genuine storage into the frame: an internal cavity behind a CNC-machined, roller-cam door holds tools, a tube, or an extra layer low in the frame instead of in a pack, and a top tube accessory mount adds another spot to carry gear without straps scuffing the paint. Cable routing runs through carbon tubes secured with pinch bolts at each end, and a redesigned chain-slap silencer keeps the ride quiet on rough descents. A mount below the frame storage is sized for an AirTag or Tile tracker, giving owners a way to keep tabs on the bike.
This build runs Shimano's wireless XT Di2 drivetrain — XT Di2 rear derailleur and shifters paired with an XT crankset and a 12-speed, 10-51 cassette — giving riders electronic shifting without cables to route or maintain. XT four-piston brakes with Shimano's Freeza rotors (203mm front, 180mm rear) provide the stopping power a bike this capable needs on sustained descents. Suspension comes from a 160mm-travel Fox Factory 36 fork and a 140mm-travel Fox Factory Float X shock, and a Crank Brothers Highline dropper post is sized by frame, from 150mm on the S up to 200mm on the L and XL. DT Swiss XMC1700 EVO carbon wheels are wrapped in a Schwalbe Albert Trail Pro front and Romy Trail Pro rear, both in the soft Gravity Pro Radial compound built for grip on technical terrain rather than long fire-road miles.
Geometry on the MT uses size-specific chainstay lengths rather than a single fixed rear-center measurement, along with a consistent 64.5-degree head angle, increased stack, and longer reach aimed at stability and climbing traction across the size range. It's a bike built for riders who want an aggressive, enduro-leaning trail bike they still pedal under their own power — technical singletrack, bike park laps, and long days where descending capability matters as much as the climb.
