Yeti LTe XX AXS Bike

The Yeti LTe XX AXS Bike is a full-power eMTB built for one thing: going fast on demanding terrain. Yeti developed the LTe on the back of its E-EDR World Cup program, and that racing pedigree shows up everywhere from the suspension tune to the geometry. This is the top build in the LTe lineup, pairing SRAM's XX AXS transmission and Maven Ultimate brakes with Bosch's race-oriented CX-R drive unit. It's an e-mountain bike engineered first as a mountain bike, then given the power to back it up.

At the heart of the LTe is Yeti's Sixfinity suspension, a six-bar linkage delivering 160mm of rear travel matched to a 170mm-travel Fox Factory Podium fork and a Fox Factory Float X2 shock. Unlike a generic suspension platform bolted onto an e-bike chassis, Sixfinity on the LTe is tuned specifically around the power traits and added system weight of the Bosch motor. Yeti scaled the anti-squat curve lower than on its other bikes so the suspension can move freely even under full motor assist, while a linear anti-rise curve keeps the geometry and suspension behavior consistent under braking. A flip-chip lets you adjust the leverage progression between a racy, consistent feel, a balanced setting, or a plush-then-poppy curve with more bottom-out support, and a separate flip chip switches between full 29-inch wheels and a mixed 29-front/27.5-rear setup without altering the geometry.

Power comes from a Bosch Performance Line CX-R motor putting out 120Nm of torque and 750 watts, paired to an 800Wh internal battery on this build. The CX-R delivers the same output as Bosch's standard CX unit in a lighter package, and the LTe is compatible with Bosch's aftermarket PowerMore Range Extender for riders who want to push further into a ride. A fully integrated, full-color Kiox display shows battery level, remaining range, and drive unit output, with ANT+ and Bluetooth connectivity for pairing to a phone. Rider inputs and speed data run wirelessly, with the speed sensor tucked into the rear wheel to keep the cockpit and chainstay clean. The XX AXS build rounds out the drivetrain with a SRAM XX 12-speed 10-52 cassette, RaceFace Era crankset, and SRAM AXS Pod Controller shifting, while Maven Ultimate calipers and 200mm SRAM HS2 rotors handle stopping a bike of this weight and speed. DT Swiss HXC1700 carbon wheels are wrapped in a Schwalbe Magic Mary front and Tacky Chan rear, an aggressive, soft-compound pairing built for confidence on loose or technical terrain.

The frame itself is Yeti's TURQ Series Carbon, reinforced with Vectran plies — a high-performance multifilament material similar to Kevlar — for added impact resistance in the layup. A downtube guard doubles as an access door for battery swaps and service, and cables route internally through the frame with secure clamps at the entry and exit points to cut down on rattle, with the option to run brake lines in a moto-style layout. Yeti also carried over the precision-machined shock linkage from its World Cup program, using floating collet axles and standard cartridge bearings for smoother action and easier long-term service. Geometry on the LTe moved the needle from Yeti's earlier 160e platform, with 5mm more reach per size and a slacker head angle borrowed from Yeti's World Cup enduro race bike, plus a longer wheelbase and taller stack height for a more stable, confidence-inspiring position at speed.
