Yeti LTe X0 AXS Bike

The Yeti LTe X0 AXS Bike is Yeti's full-power eMTB, built for riders who want e-bike assist without giving up an inch of gravity-bike intent. This X0 AXS build sits in the middle of the LTe lineup, between the SRAM Eagle 90 build and the range-topping XX AXS kit, and it carries the same TURQ Series carbon frame and SIXFINITY suspension platform that Yeti developed from its World Cup enduro racing program. Yeti didn't design the LTe as an e-mountain bike first and a mountain bike second — the motor and battery are built around a chassis meant to descend hard, and it shows in how the bike is spec'd.

SIXFINITY is a six-bar suspension linkage that Yeti carried over from its World Cup-winning enduro bike, delivering 160mm of rear travel matched to a 170mm-travel Fox Factory 38 fork up front. The tune is specific to the LTe: because the Bosch drive unit already provides so much of the acceleration, Yeti scaled the suspension's anti-squat lower than on its non-assisted bikes, letting the rear end stay active and traction-focused under power instead of fighting pedal input. Anti-rise stays linear through the travel for predictable geometry retention under braking. A flip-chip on the shock linkage lets you adjust the leverage curve between a racier, more consistent feel and a plusher, poppier one, so the suspension character can be tuned to the terrain or the rider without swapping parts. The TURQ carbon frame itself is reinforced with Vectran plies — a Kevlar-like multifilament — in high-impact zones for added durability on rock strikes.

Power comes from a Bosch Performance Line CX-R drive unit paired with an 800Wh internal battery, delivering 120Nm of torque and 750 watts. The CX-R tune is built for racing rather than trail cruising, and Yeti houses it behind a downtube guard that doubles as a battery access door and heat vent, reducing the chance of the motor derating under sustained hard efforts. A full-color Kiox display is integrated into the top tube, showing battery level, range, and power output at a glance, and the LTe accepts Yeti's aftermarket PowerMore range extender for an additional 250Wh on longer missions. Cable routing runs internally with clamped entry and exit points to keep things rattle-free, and the frame supports moto-style brake routing for riders who prefer that setup.

The X0 AXS build pairs a SRAM X0 AXS rear derailleur and AXS Pod Controller with a 12-speed, 10-52 cassette, giving you wireless electronic shifting without a physical lever. SRAM Maven Silver brakes with 200mm HS2 rotors front and rear provide the stopping power a bike this capable and this heavy needs on sustained descents. Suspension duties are handled by the Fox Factory 38 fork and Float X2 shock, with a Fox Transfer dropper post sized by frame — 150mm on the S, up to 210mm on the L and XL. DT Swiss HXC1700 wheels are wrapped in a Schwalbe Magic Mary up front and a Tacky Chan out back, both in the soft Gravity Pro Radial compound, a combination aimed squarely at aggressive, technical terrain rather than long fire-road climbs. Yeti's own carbon handlebar and a Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem round out the cockpit.

Geometry on the LTe leans into that descending focus. A 64-degree head angle stays consistent across all four sizes, and reach was stretched relative to Yeti's previous e-MTB platform to mirror the brand's World Cup enduro race bike, giving the LTe a longer wheelbase and more front-center stability at speed. Stack height increases with frame size for a more upright, confidence-building position on steep terrain.
