The Yeti LTe Eagle 90 Bike is Yeti's full-power electric mountain bike, built as the successor to the brand's 160E and shaped by lessons learned winning the E-EDR World Cup. This is a race-bred eMTB first and an "e" bike second — the same SIXFINITY suspension platform and geometry philosophy that put Yeti on top step at World Cup enduro races, scaled to handle the added power and weight of a Bosch drive unit. In the Eagle 90 build, that platform comes paired with SRAM's wireless Eagle 90 T-Type drivetrain and Fox Factory suspension, positioning it as an accessible entry point into Yeti's full-power e-mountain bike lineup.

Frame and Suspension

The LTe's TURQ Series carbon frame runs Yeti's SIXFINITY suspension design, a six-bar linkage that controls both wheel path and shock rate independently, with 160mm of rear travel matched to a 170mm-travel Fox Factory 38 fork up front. Yeti tuned the linkage's anti-squat and anti-rise characteristics specifically around the power delivery and added system weight of the Bosch motor, rather than simply carrying over a tune built for an unassisted bike. The result is a suspension platform that resists bobbing under power while still tracking through square-edge hits and roots without hanging up. A flip chip lets riders adjust the leverage curve's progression to suit riding style, and the same mixed-wheel compatibility that preserves geometry on a 27.5-inch rear wheel setup carries over from the standard LTe platform. The carbon layup is reinforced with Vectran plies, a high-impact-resistant fiber, for added durability against rock strikes and trail debris, and a downtube guard doubles as an access door for battery swaps and cable service.

Bosch Power System

Power comes from a Bosch Performance Line CX drive unit paired with an 800Wh battery, giving the LTe Eagle 90 the range for long, demanding rides without relying on an aftermarket extender — though the frame is compatible with Bosch's PowerMore range extender for riders who want to push further. An integrated Kiox display shows battery level, remaining range, and drive unit output at a glance, while a wireless remote and rear-wheel speed sensor keep the cockpit and frame free of extra cabling.

Drivetrain and Brakes

SRAM's Eagle 90 groupset handles shifting with a wireless, T-Type rear derailleur — AXS-style shifting without the cable routing a mechanical drivetrain would need. A SRAM GX 12-speed cassette with a 10-52 tooth range gives riders enough spread to grind up sustained climbs under motor assist and still have gearing left for fast singletrack. SRAM Maven Base brakes with 200mm Centerline rotors front and rear provide the stopping power a heavier, faster e-bike demands, especially on long descents where a lighter mountain bike's brakes would struggle to keep up with the added speed and mass.

Wheels, Tires, and Cockpit

DT Swiss H1900 wheels are built to handle the loads of a full-power eMTB, wrapped in Schwalbe's Magic Mary Gravity Pro tire up front and Tacky Chan Gravity Pro out back, both in a 29x2.5 width with Ultra Soft and Soft compounds respectively — a front-specific grip tire paired with a faster-rolling rear that's a common setup for aggressive trail and enduro riding. The cockpit uses a Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem and Burgtec Ride Wide alloy handlebar with 30mm of rise, mounted to a Cane Creek 40 headset, with a Crank Brothers Highline dropper post and WTB Solano saddle rounding out the finishing kit.

Yeti increased reach and slackened the head angle on the LTe compared to the outgoing 160E, mirroring the geometry of its World Cup-winning Enduro race bike, and paired it with a taller stack and longer wheelbase for stability at speed. That geometry, combined with the SIXFINITY suspension's traction and composure over rough terrain, makes the LTe Eagle 90 suited to riders who want an eMTB that rewards going through technical terrain rather than picking around it — steep, sustained climbs where motor assist matters, and equally demanding descents where the suspension and brakes need to keep up.
