The Q36.5 Adventure Insulation Vest - Women's is a lightweight insulated cycling vest that weighs 110 g in size M. Q36.5 builds it as a layer you can wear on its own over a jersey or under a jacket, and it is windproof and water resistant, with insulation on the front panels and shoulders where a rider loses heat first.
The outer fabric is a high-density, 4-way stretch woven (15 denier, 38 g/m²) with a durable water-repellent treatment, so the vest moves with you on the bike. Inside the front panels and shoulders is UF Air Insulation, a brushed jacquard fabric blended with micropolyester. The structured lining is designed to create a layer of warm air near the skin and help move moisture away from the body. The fabric is 60% polyamide, 20% polyester, 10% elastane and 10% polyurethane.
A double-layered hermetic collar uses two materials to close the neck when fully zipped, which cuts down on drafts on cold descents. Lightweight mesh pockets sit on the back. Q36.5 says they lie flat against the body when empty and add little bulk, so you can carry a few small items without the vest feeling loaded. Reflective inserts on the rear help with visibility in low light. Q36.5 describes the vest as easily packable, so you can stow it when the day warms up. The cut is comfort-oriented, so check the size chart before ordering, and the vest is made in Italy.
