Assos Dyora R Roadsuit S11 Info
The Assos Dyora R Roadsuit S11 is Assos' most aggressive, most aerodynamic women's racewear, built as a one-piece to eliminate the gap and bunching a jersey-and-shorts combination creates in a tucked riding position. It's cut for racing rather than all-day comfort: the legs run longer than Assos' standard racingFit shorts, and the zeroNeck collar sits more open than the brand's RS jerseys, giving you an easier breath when the effort gets hard.
Three fabrics do the work across the suit. The torso uses Assos' AirCell textile, an extremely light, highly breathable material built for cooling airflow during high-intensity efforts in hot conditions. The sleeves switch to 550CX, a second-skin fabric that cuts drag while staying elastic through the shoulders and arms. The shorts are built from Type.911, Assos' racing-series short fabric, which combines compression, breathability, and abrasion resistance, dries quickly, and carries UPF 50+ sun protection along with odor control. A rear radio pocket with internal cable routing keeps electronics stored without disrupting the suit's aerodynamics, and bonded seams with raw-cut leg openings cut bulk and reduce skin irritation. A skinGrip finish holds the legs in place without the tight, pinching feel of a traditional silicone gripper.
The chamois is Assos' DYORA R S11 insert, built on the brand's butterfly-wrap S11 pattern for compression and stability without sacrificing comfort in an aggressive, tucked position. Inside, a Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9 uses a single 9mm layer of compressive foam, thermoformed to avoid ridges and pressure points, paired with a 3D Waffle layer — a patented, perforated foam that adds breathability without adding weight. The insert's goldenGate 2.0 construction floats free of the surrounding fabric so it moves with the body instead of against it, with cutouts at the wings to reduce friction through the pedal stroke. Assos developed the S11 platform with input from WorldTour riders and the Swiss Cycling Federation, and it shows in a suit built specifically for racing and hard training in the heat rather than casual miles.
