Track Bikes On Sale

Track bikes on sale covers the full spectrum of velodrome riding — from entry-level aluminum complete bikes to UCI-grade pursuit framesets built for competition. The format is fixed-gear only: no derailleurs, no brakes, designed entirely for the banked track. What varies is intent: pursuit bikes are optimized for individual time trial efforts, sprint bikes for explosive short-distance power, and Madison bikes for the multi-rider team format.

The brands here — Pinarello, Look, Argon 18, Cinelli, and BMC — represent most of the serious track market. Complete bikes from Argon 18, Look, and BMC offer a ready-to-ride starting point, while frameset options from Pinarello and Look are there for riders building custom setups. At the extreme end, the Pinarello Bolide F HR 3D is the same platform used for UCI Hour Record attempts.

About Track Bikes

Track bikes run fixed gear with no brakes — every design decision starts from that constraint. Geometry and build spec vary by discipline: pursuit bikes carry aggressive aero positions for individual time trial efforts, sprint bikes prioritize stiffness for explosive short-distance power, and Madison bikes handle the physical demands of the multi-rider format. Frame material splits cleanly between aluminum (entry and training builds) and carbon (competition and record-level performance).

The brands here cover most of the serious track market. Argon 18’s Electron Pro TKO comes in Pursuit and Sprint configurations, both designed for competition. Look covers multiple disciplines — the T20 Speed and 895 Vitesse as frameset options, the 875 Madison RS for team events, and the aluminum AL 464 P as a complete bike entry point. Cinelli’s SuperCorsa Pista brings Italian carbon to the track, while the aluminum Vigorelli covers the same heritage at a lower price point. BMC’s Trackmachine lineup spans carbon (01 FRS frameset) and aluminum (AL One complete bike). Pinarello rounds out the top end with the MAAT and the Bolide F HR 3D — the platform built for UCI Hour Record attempts.
