Suspension

FOX and RockShox build the suspension that defines what modern mountain bikes can do — and Suspension at RA Cycles brings both brands’ current lineup together in one place. From premium complete forks and rear shocks to the service parts that keep them running at spec, this collection covers the full range of what’s available from both manufacturers.

At the top end, FOX’s Podium Factory and Limited Edition Podium Gold forks compete with RockShox’s Flight Attendant wireless electronic series. Both brands also supply the service ecosystem — seal kits, dust wipers, air spring upgrades, and 50-hour service intervals — so riders who want to maintain their own suspension will find everything they need here alongside the complete units.

About Mountain Bike Suspension

Choosing suspension involves matching fork travel and geometry to your riding style — shorter travel (100–120mm) for cross-country and trail work, longer travel (140–170mm) for enduro and more aggressive terrain. Rear shock selection depends on your frame’s linkage design and the stroke length it requires. Getting both ends right, with compatible damper tuning, makes a bigger difference to how a mountain bike rides than almost any other component decision.

RA Cycles stocks suspension from the two leaders in the category: FOX and RockShox. FOX’s Float 40 and Float 38 Limited Edition Podium Gold forks and the Factory-grade Podium line sit at the top end. RockShox counters with the SID Ultimate and SID SL Ultimate in Flight Attendant wireless electronic form, plus the Lyrik Ultimate Charger 3.1 RC2 for longer-travel builds. For rear shocks, RockShox SIDLuxe Ultimate Flight Attendant and FOX Float DPS Factory cover the premium tier. The collection also includes service kits, seal kits, and upgrade components for both brands — DebonAir+ air spring upgrades, dust wiper kits, and 50-hour service items.
