The RockShox SID Ultimate Race Day 3P Crown 29" Suspension Fork D1 is RockShox's cross-country race fork, built around a 35mm chassis that keeps weight down without sacrificing the stiffness needed to hold a line at speed. It runs 120mm of travel on 29" wheels with a 44mm offset, and the Charger Race Day 2 damper — which RockShox calls its lightest production damper — gives you three compression positions at the crown: a firm Lock for climbing efficiency, a plush Open setting for technical terrain, and a middle Pedal position for grinding out sustained climbs without losing traction. The "Crown" designation means those three positions are adjusted right at the top of the fork rather than through a separate remote lever.

Underneath, the DebonAir+ air spring adds more negative-chamber volume for a softer, more supple feel off the top of the travel, with enough tunability via volume-reducing tokens to firm up the mid-stroke for aggressive riders. A machined alloy crown shaves additional weight without giving up steering precision, and the fork clears tires up to 66mm wide while running rotors from 180mm to 220mm. At roughly 1,480 grams, it's built for riders who want a fork light enough for full-gas XC racing but durable enough for sportier backcountry days, available in Gloss Black or Electric Red.
