Shimano's Dynamic Chain Engagement+ tooth profile is designed to keep the chain seated under the kind of combined load and lateral flex that gravel riding regularly produces — without requiring a separate chain guide. Three crank arm lengths — 170, 172.5, and 175mm — let you dial in the fit, and the 50.1mm chainline works with standard 11-speed HG-EV and HG-X11 chains.
