The Selle SMP Chrono Saddle is built specifically for time trial and triathlon racing, shaped around the demands of an aggressive forward position and sized to meet UCI competition regulations. At 250 x 124mm and 199 grams, it carries none of the bulk you don't need on the start line.
Selle SMP's central channel runs completely open through the length of the saddle, relieving pressure in the perineal area across the extended efforts that define this discipline. The raised rear and eagle-break nose are designed to support the TT position while adding a degree of aerodynamic efficiency to the profile. There is no padding — the polypropylene copolymer shell and real leather cover are the structure, keeping weight down and form consistent. The stainless steel rails offer a stable, corrosion-resistant base for dialling in your position on any compatible seatpost clamp.
