The Scott Foil RC Ultimate Bike is the top build of Scott's aero road platform, and it is specified without the usual compromises. The frame and fork are Foil RC HMX SL carbon, the drivetrain is SRAM Red AXS E1 with an integrated power meter, and the wheels are Zipp 454 NSW. Nothing on the parts list is a placeholder. It is a race bike built for riders who want the fastest version of the Foil, ready to ride out of the box.
Scott has been building bikes since 1958, when Ed Scott started the company in Sun Valley, Idaho, and the Foil is the line where the brand puts its aerodynamic thinking to work. Scott designs the Foil around the idea that most road racing is decided at speed, in crosswinds, on flat and rolling roads where drag matters more than a few grams. The carbon frame is paired with a carbon fork, and the cockpit follows the same logic: the Syncros Creston iC SL Aero handlebar and stem are shaped for airflow and keep the front end clean. The Syncros Duncan SL Aero seatpost continues that approach at the back of the bike.
Drivetrain and braking
SRAM Red AXS E1 is the top of SRAM's road range, and on this bike it covers nearly every moving part: electronic front and rear derailleurs, AXS shifters, a 12-speed Red XG-1290 E1 cassette in a 10-33 range, and a Red E1 chain. The crankset carries an integrated power meter and turns 48/35 chainrings. That is a mid-compact setup, and the tighter jump between rings suits riders who spend their time in the big ring on fast group rides but still want a low gear when the road tips up. The 10-tooth small cog keeps the top end usable when you are pushing on the flats or chasing on a descent.
Stopping comes from SRAM Red AXS E1 hydraulic disc brakes with Paceline X rotors, 160mm in front and 140mm in back. The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB press-fit unit with ceramic bearings. Because shifting is wireless, there are no shift cables to route through the frame, which is a benefit on a bike where clean internal routing is part of the design.
Wheels, tires, and contact points
The Zipp 454 NSW wheels are the centerpiece of the build. Zipp's NSW line is its top-tier carbon wheel range, and the 454 is intended as a fast all-round aero option for riders who need speed without giving up handling in gusty conditions. They are fitted with Schwalbe Pro One Aero tubeless-ready tires in 700x28, a sensible size for a modern race bike: wide enough for grip and comfort, still fast on smooth pavement.
The Syncros Belcarra V 1.0 NEO cut-out saddle and Syncros RC bar tape round out the contact points. Scott and Syncros are sister brands, so the cockpit, seatpost, and saddle are designed to work as a set with the frame. Pedals are not included, which lets you fit your own system, whether that is Shimano, Look, or Speedplay.
Sizing and setup
The Foil RC Ultimate comes in six sizes, XS through XXL, so there is a realistic fit for riders on either end of the range. The finish is Piano Black over Carbon Black, a stealthy colorway that lets the carbon and the Zipp graphics do the talking. The bike has a combined weight limit of 264 lbs (bike, rider, equipment, and any luggage), as specified by Scott.

It is best suited to competitive riders, serious enthusiasts, and anyone who wants a complete top-spec aero road bike with a power meter already installed and race-ready wheels included.
