The Rotor Track Threaded Bottom Bracket is built specifically for Rotor 3D24 Track Cranks — a matched pairing that keeps your drivetrain running cleanly on the boards. Two external cups each house a single bearing, packed with a lighter-weight grease and lighter sealing than you'd find on a road or MTB unit. That's a deliberate choice: the velodrome environment is clean and dry, so the bearings are tuned for reduced drag rather than maximum weather resistance.
Track frames have retained threaded bottom bracket shells for good reason — the format is proven, reliable, and still the standard across nearly all track bikes. This bottom bracket is available in both English (BSA) and Italian (ITA) threading to suit your frame. English shells measure 68mm wide with a reverse-threaded drive side; Italian shells are 70mm wide with standard threading on both sides. The whole kit weighs 96g.
