Rotor NoQ Inner Chainrings Info
Finishing your Rotor crank with matching chain rings is easy with the Rotor NoQ Inner Chainring.
NoQ is a reference to Rotor’s Q-Rings, which are oval. These are round, hence the NoQ designation.
Rotor makes these rings as compliments to their cranks. The material, 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, is finished identically to the cranks, so the appearance is near seamless. But they’re excellent rings on their own and are designed to perform well no matter which 110 or 130mm bolt circle diameter five-arm spider crank you put them on.
110mm is the compact diameter. 130mm is the “standard.” 110 can fit a minimum of a 34-tooth ring. 130 can fit a minimum of 38-tooth ring. This ring is designed to work with both 10- and 11-speed cranksets.
The 7075 plate is CNC-machined away to almost nothing for greater precision with the teeth, and the design works with any outer chain ring.
Rotor, which manufactures these in their home country of Spain, makes a wide range of ring sizes, as big as the most massive masher riding a team trial could need on their tt rig, and as small as the lightest climber could want on their climbing bike with compact gears.
Rotor weighs their rings in sets. A NoQ Aero 110 ratio of 50/34 weighs 132g. A NoQ Aero 130 ratio of 53/39 weighs 140g.
The Rotor NoQ Inner Chain Ring looks great, performs great, and weighs next to nothing.
