The Look 785 Huez Disc is an incredibly lightweight road bike with unmatched climbing ability. This version has a more relaxed geometry than the race-oriented RS version, making it a perfect choice for endurance riders or hobbyists. It keeps most of the agility and stability as the more expensive version with an extra touch of comfort. The Look engineers also designed the frame to carry the best possible stiffness to weight ratio, making it a reliable sprinter and great all around road bike. The Look 785 Disc balances a fun and relaxed ride with outstanding climbing ability in an all-around high level bike.
The frame of the Look 785 Huez is made entirely of carbon fiber, using Look’s unmatched carbon molding techniques. When it comes to constructing a carbon frame, few have more experience than Look. With 30 years of carbon frame engineering at their backs, Look took the initiative to get ahead when metal frames still reigned supreme. Honing carbon construction over this time led to the Huez which has optimal tube shapes for maximum inertia in each tube. Strong tubing with sidewalls just 0.6mm thick led to the ideal stiffness to weight ratio. The length, size, and shape of every tube was taken into consideration to make this frame fast, powerful, balanced, and comfortable while keeping its lightweight nature.
This version of the Look 785 Huez is designed to suit flat mount disc brakes which are excellent for powerful and modulated stopping in all weather conditions. It can also fit tires up to 30mm thick in case you want more of an endurance road setup. This version comes equipped with a SRAM Rival AXS groupset for 12-speed electronic shifting at a reasonable price. The comfortable geometry of the Huez also makes all day riding possible in conjunction with wider tires. With a reasonable price for such a high level machine, this bike is a great choice for the rider looking to transition into elite riding. The Look 785 Huez Rival AXS lets riders ride at a high level without having to deal with a huge price tag.
