In 1989, the Superform became the first bicycle ever designed specifically for triathlon — engineered from the aerobars back to suit a rider who’s completed a 2.4-mile swim. Ray Browning rode it to a course record at Ironman New Zealand that same year. The V-PRi later set the record for the fastest Ironman bike split ever recorded. In February 2025, QR became the Official Bike Supplier of IRONMAN — the clearest sign that the brand that invented this category still leads it.
