It's a crank-based power meter built around the DZero spider — Quarq's most refined measurement platform — without compromising on the data accuracy that makes power training worthwhile.
That spider does the real work here. It measures power to ±1.5% accuracy, broadcasts simultaneously over ANT+ and Bluetooth Low Energy, and compensates for temperature shifts across the ride so your numbers stay consistent whether you're warming up in the cold or finishing a long summer effort. There's no frame magnet required — the meter wakes automatically. The CR2032 coin cell battery is user-replaceable, and OmniCal means you won't need to recalibrate if you swap chainrings. An IPX7 waterproof rating keeps it reliable in wet conditions, and firmware updates are handled wirelessly through the Qalvin app.
