The Q36.5 Dottore Termico Bib Tights are the Italian brand's insulated winter bib tights for cold, dry days and wet-weather riding. Q36.5 rates them for roughly -5°C to +5°C (23°F to 41°F), a range it calls its Body Temperature Stability Guarantee, and says it tested them at cadences above 110 rpm. It also says the Termico runs about 1°C warmer than the previous version. For riders who keep training through winter, that makes these bib tights a core piece of cold-weather cycling kit rather than an occasional-use extra.
Fabric and Warmth
The outer shell is UF-Hybrid Shell PLUS, a dense woven fabric. Inside, Q36.5 uses what it calls Heat Fiber, made from coffee bean processing residue, which the brand says absorbs far-infrared rays to help warm the body. The front of each leg adds a second layer of perforated fleece. Q36.5 says this layer removes the need for a membrane, so the tights can insulate without relying on a sealed, less breathable liner.
The fabric blend is 56% polyamide, 36% elastane, 4% polyester, 2% silver, 1% acrylic and 1% polyurethane. The high elastane content gives the cloth its stretch, and Q36.5 lists reflective inserts, UV protection and muscle support among the tights' features. A Dyneema insert in the saddle area is there to add durability where a bib sees the most abrasion.
Cut and Fit
The Termico is built on Q36.5's Ergogenic Pattern, with panels aligned to the pedal stroke, which the brand calls Vectorial Elasticity. Seams are kept to a minimum and placed strategically, edges are laser-cut and left raw, and an anti-stress panel removes the central crotch seam. The goal is a close, supportive fit that stays out of the way when you are riding hard or spending hours in the saddle. Size M weighs 275 g.
Sizes run from XS to XXXL, and Q36.5 offers the Dottore Termico in Black, Ice Grey, Nautica Blue, Check Grey and Storm Grey. The close cut rewards accuracy, so measure before you order and check the size chart if you fall between sizes.
