The outer shell combines a three layer proprietary waterproof fabric with a durable waterproof treatment. Its inner layer has the UF Air Insulation which is a blend of micropolyester that increases thermal insulation. The Hermetic Collar features a second collar inside the original collar which seals the body from cold air.
