You’ve seen the PRO Vibe Carbon Handlebar in the pro peloton for years. It is the compact, traditional carbon-fiber handlebar that graces most of the bikes ridden by the likes of Team Sky, FdJ, and several other WorldTour squads. They like the bar because it’s comfortable, light, and strong.

The bar is fabricated out of unidirectional carbon-fiber. Unlike many handlebars, the 31.8mm stem clamp diameter is extended well past the traditional few cm of space on either side of the clamp. It extends most of the way to the transition to the forward curve. This stiffens up the bar and adds a measure of comfort as it’s so easy to hold on to.

The diameter narrows on the transition to the hooks, though the curve is fairly flat at the top to make it easy to slide your hands onto the hoods. The drop isn’t wholly traditional, but it’s pretty darn close, which allows the user to move their hands around on the drops as they see fit, digging deeper in when descending, getting down on the bottoms for resting.

But there’s a good bit more to the bars. There are several intake and exit ports in the bars, for running Di2 wires internally as well as running brake and mechanical shift cables through the bars. If you go the Di2 route, you can even run your Di2 battery in the steerer and route the wire through the bars and stem, provided you have the necessary depth to the steerer, the proper accessory battery holder, a Di2-compatible stem and top cap.

The drop on the PRO Vibe Carbon Handlebar is 130mm. The reach is 80mm. Compact dimensions. It is compatible with 31.8mm clamp stems. Weight for a 40cm, center-to-center, version is 230g.
