Pivot Shuttle AMP'd Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike Info
Pivot Shuttle AMP'd Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike is Pivot's most aggressive electric mountain bike, built around the Avinox M2S drive unit and a mixed-wheel chassis shaped by two decades of Pivot's suspension development. This is an enduro-capable e-MTB, not a mellow commuter with knobby tires — 160mm of front travel and 150mm in the rear, running a 29-inch front wheel against a 27.5-inch rear, give it the geometry and character to plow through rock gardens and hold a line through loose, fast corners without getting knocked off its line.
The Avinox M2S motor is the centerpiece of the build: a 2.6kg drive unit that produces up to 1300W of peak power and 130 Nm of torque, paired with an integrated 800Wh battery for extended range. Because the battery's compact cross-section allows for a slimmer frame profile, the AMP'd doesn't carry its power system as extra bulk — it's built into the chassis rather than bolted onto it. A color OLED touchscreen doubles as a full cycling computer and drive-unit control center, letting riders adjust ride modes and check system data with wet fingers or gloves, without breaking concentration on technical terrain.
Pivot hardwired the SRAM XX AXS Eagle Transmission derailleur directly into the Avinox system, eliminating the separate derailleur battery and enabling Avinox SmoothShift — an automated power delivery system that smooths out shifts under load and allows shifting while coasting. If the main battery runs dry, a partitioned reserve keeps the derailleur functional so shifting doesn't disappear along with motor assist. Avinox's Smart-Assist traction control adds another layer of intelligence, using a 42-point rear speed sensor and gyroscope to catch wheel slip on rough, loose climbs before it becomes a problem.
Suspension duties run through Pivot's dw-link kinematics, paired here with a Fox Factory 38 fork (160mm travel, 44mm offset, GRIP X2 damper) and a Fox Factory Float X shock out back. The result is a platform that stays traction-focused and supportive on square-edge hits while still wanting to slash through turns and pop off smaller trail features — pedaling stays efficient even as the bike absorbs impacts with a settled, controlled feel. It's suspension tuned for riders pushing the AMP'd hard on descents, not just cruising fire roads.
The build kit backs up that intent at every point of contact. SRAM Maven Ultimate 4-piston brakes with 200mm HS2 rotors provide the stopping power a bike this capable demands on steep, sustained descents, while a Praxis Carbon eCranks E-MTB crankset with a 34t chainring, SRAM XS-1297 10-52 cassette, and SRAM XX Eagle Flattop chain round out the drivetrain. DT Swiss Hybrid HXC1501 wheels are wrapped in Continental Kryptotal tires — a Super Soft compound Kryptotal-F up front and Kryptotal-R in back — for the kind of grip aggressive terrain calls for. Phoenix Team carbon bar and Enduro V2 stem, a RockShox Reverb V2 dropper post, and a Pivot Team E-Bike saddle complete a cockpit built for control at speed. The Shuttle AMP'd Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike is available in Burgundy Berry Freeze and Black Metallic Stone, sized XS through XL, for riders who want gravity-bike confidence with a motor built to match.
