Pivot Shuttle AMP'd Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike Info

The Pivot Shuttle AMP'd Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike is Pivot's full-power enduro e-MTB, built for riders who want the motor and the chassis to work as one system rather than two. With 150mm of rear travel and 160mm up front on a mixed 29"/27.5" wheel setup, it's designed to feel settled at speed and lively through tight terrain — the kind of bike that stays composed when the trail stops cooperating.

Power comes from Pivot's Avinox M2S drive unit, a 2.6kg motor that produces 130Nm of torque and up to 1300W of peak power. The 800Wh battery is built with a compact cross-section that lets Pivot keep the frame profile slim rather than bulging around the downtube, and on Pro-level builds like this one, the Avinox 508W fast charger gets the battery back to full in roughly the time it takes to eat a snack between laps. Pivot didn't stop at raw output, either — the SRAM X0 AXS Eagle Transmission derailleur is hardwired directly into the Avinox system, eliminating the separate derailleur battery entirely. That integration enables Avinox SmoothShift, which smooths out shifts under load and lets you shift while coasting. If the main battery ever runs dry mid-ride, a partitioned reserve keeps the derailleur powered so you're not stuck in one gear on the way home.

The carbon frame runs on Pivot's dw-link suspension, a kinematic layout the brand has refined for two decades across its lineup. On the AMP'd, it's tuned to keep the rear wheel tracking through chatter while still supporting hard cornering loads and small pop-offs — pedaling stays efficient, but big hits get absorbed without deadening the feel of the trail underneath you. A RockShox Zeb Ultimate fork and Super Deluxe Ultimate shock handle that travel, both tuned for the kind of aggressive descending this build is aimed at. Rolling stock is DT Swiss Hybrid HX1501 wheels wrapped in Continental Kryptotal tires — a 2.4" front and 2.6" rear, both in Super Soft compound with Enduro casing — for the kind of grip and sidewall support that matters when you're pushing an e-MTB through rock gardens at trail-bike speed.

Stopping power is handled by SRAM Maven Silver four-piston brakes on 200mm rotors front and rear, which is the right call on a bike that carries motor and battery weight into steep, technical descents. Behind the bars, Avinox's Smart-Assist traction control uses a 42-point rear speed sensor and gyroscope to catch wheel slip on rough or loose climbs before it becomes a problem, and the color OLED touchscreen doubles as a full cycling computer and drive-unit control center — legible and usable even with wet or gloved fingers, so you're not fumbling with settings mid-climb. A OneUp Dropper V3 post, Phoenix Team carbon bar and stem, and a Pivot Pro E-Bike saddle round out a build kit that's clearly assembled for riders who spend real time in the saddle rather than posing for photos at the trailhead.

This is a bike for riders who want enduro-level descending capability without giving up the motor assist that turns multiple laps into a normal afternoon. It's not a casual cruiser — the geometry, suspension tune, and brake setup are all pointed at technical, gravity-oriented riding, with the Avinox system there to get you back to the top faster. For someone shopping in the $11,999 range for a Pro-level build, the Shuttle AMP'd Pro X0 Eagle Transmission is built for the rider who wants to ride harder, more often, on terrain that would otherwise wear out a standard trail bike by lap three.

The RA Perspective

The Shuttle AMP'd Pro X0 is one of the more thoughtfully integrated e-MTBs we've had on the floor. The hardwired SRAM Eagle Transmission is the detail that stands out first — no separate derailleur battery to charge or forget, and shifts under power feel noticeably cleaner than on bikes where the drivetrain and motor are just bolted together and hoping for the best.

On the trail, the dw-link suspension does what Pivot has built a reputation on: it stays supportive when you're pumping through rollers and pushing into corners, but it doesn't feel harsh when things get chundery. The 1300W peak output from the Avinox motor is genuinely strong — strong enough that riders coming from a lighter-assist e-MTB should expect a different kind of punch out of switchbacks and loose climbs, which the Smart-Assist traction control helps keep in check rather than just spinning out.

The tradeoff is weight and price. This is a gravity-focused build with real components — Maven brakes, a Zeb Ultimate fork, Super Deluxe shock — and none of that is light. Riders looking for a do-everything trail bike that also climbs efficiently unassisted should look elsewhere; this bike wants to be riding, not conserving.

We'd point this at riders doing multiple enduro-style laps a day, or anyone who wants a bike-park-capable e-MTB that doesn't feel like a compromise on the way down. If your riding is mostly steep, technical descents and you don't mind the extra weight on the way up, this is the build we'd reach for.
