Pinarello Dogma F Q36.5 TDF Limited Edition Frameset Info

The Pinarello Dogma F Q36.5 TDF Limited Edition Frameset carries the livery Pinarello raced at the 2026 Tour de France as title sponsor and bike supplier of the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, led by Tom Pidcock — the team's first appearance at the race. This replica frameset is finished in Titan and Luxter Venice with Champion Gold detailing, the same colorway worn on the road, and it's built on the current Dogma F platform: Pinarello's flagship road race frame and the bike underneath Ineos Grenadiers for years before it.

The frame is molded from Pinarello's M40X carbon, a fiber lay-up first proven on the brand's X-Light models and Ineos Grenadiers' team bikes before making its way onto the Dogma F. M40X carries a higher tensile modulus than the material it replaces, which Pinarello uses to push lateral stiffness further without adding weight — the kind of change that shows up under hard accelerations and out-of-the-saddle efforts rather than in a spec sheet number. Every tube on this generation of Dogma F has been reworked around that fiber, not just carried over from the previous frame.

Aerodynamics run through nearly every shape on this bike. The down tube has been thinned to cut frontal drag, and it's rotated 3.5 degrees to form a keel-like profile around the bottom bracket — a detail Pinarello traces back to its Hour Record program — for a claimed 1.2% aero gain in that area alone. The head tube's signature "nose," a shape Pinarello introduced on the Dogma F8 back in 2014, has been narrowed by another 8mm on this generation for cleaner frontal penetration, which required an all-new headset: an elliptical steering tube paired with bearings sized differently top to bottom so the head tube could shrink without compromising steering stiffness. Even the thru axles were redesigned shorter, with the mounting bolts integrated into the carbon on both fork and frame instead of left exposed, cleaning up both the look and the airflow around the dropouts.

The included eTICR Onda Fork carries Pinarello's long-running Onda design forward with a slimmer profile and 47mm of rake, tuned with input from Pinarello's pro riders for handling through fast descents rather than pure straight-line speed. The seatpost is Pinarello's own Aero design, finished with a 3D-printed titanium top clamp and bolts — a detail that trims weight at a point on the frame where every gram is easy to feel. Pinarello also redesigned the seatpost clamp itself into a fully integrated unit inside the seat tube, which keeps road grit and sweat away from the clamping mechanism over time. Underneath all of it, this frameset runs a 70mm Italian threaded bottom bracket shell rather than a press-fit design, a spec riders who've dealt with creaky press-fit bottom brackets will appreciate.

Being a frameset, this is a platform for a builder who already knows the groupset, wheels, and cockpit they want — Pinarello's own Talon Ultra Fast integrated bar and stem is designed around this frame if you're building toward a fully aero setup, though it's sold separately. Sizing runs from 43cm through 57.5cm, covering a wide range of rider heights on the same aggressive, race-tuned geometry Pinarello has built Grand Tour contenders around. For a rider who wants a genuine Pinarello Dogma F race frame with a direct tie to this year's Tour de France, and who's ready to spec the rest of the build to their own standard, this is that frame.

The RA Perspective

What gets us about this one is the story behind the colorway. This is the livery Pinarello and the Q36.5 team raced at their first Tour de France together as title sponsor, with Tom Pidcock leading the charge — not a made-up "limited edition" tag, an actual team bike replica tied to a specific race. That matters to us more than it probably should, but it's a real point of difference from a generic paint job.

Underneath the livery, this is the current Dogma F platform, which means M40X carbon, the reworked aero shaping around the down tube and bottom bracket, and Pinarello's narrower head tube "nose" that's been part of the Dogma's identity since 2014. It's a frame built for riders who are already racing or training seriously, not something we'd point a first-time road rider toward.

Worth knowing going in: this is a frameset only. You're supplying the groupset, wheels, and cockpit, and if you want the full aero package, Pinarello's Talon Ultra Fast bar and stem is sold separately, not bundled in. We'd also flag the 70mm Italian threaded bottom bracket as a plus, not a downside — it's simpler to service and quieter over time than a lot of the press-fit standards on other race frames right now.

We'd point this at a rider who already has a groupset and wheelset they trust and wants a frame with real racing pedigree to build around, ideally someone who follows the WorldTour closely enough to appreciate exactly what this colorway represents.
