The Assos GTO Winter LS Dermasensor is a long-sleeve winter base layer built to do one job disappear against the skin while holding a warm, dry microclimate underneath everything you layer over it. Assos calls it the pinnacle of its base layer line, and the construction backs that up: it's a single, seamless garment rather than fabric panels stitched together, extended through a taller collar that adds throat coverage when temperatures drop.
The DermaSensor fabric is a 3D jacquard warp-knit textile, produced as one finished piece instead of separate sewn sections. That construction is what gives it its softness, stretch, and breathability, along with durability and odor resistance that hold up over repeated winter rides. Assos built it in their regularFit, sized for comfort on long training days and specifically for layering under thermal tights, jackets, and winter jerseys without adding bulk. Raw cut sleeve and waist hems eliminate the seams that usually cause chafing under tight winter layers, and because there's no finished hem, the sleeves can be trimmed to length if you want a customized fit.
