Scott Solace Gravel 30 Bike Info
The Scott Solace Gravel 30 Bike is a gravel e-bike built on the Solace eRIDE Disc HMX frame, with a TQ HPR60 mid-drive motor and an internal 360Wh battery. It is meant for riders who want to cover more ground on mixed surfaces, whether that means longer days on gravel roads, steeper climbs, or keeping pace with a faster group. The Solace name has long been Scott's endurance road line, and this bike carries that comfort-first approach onto dirt.
A Motor That Stays Out of the Way
The TQ HPR60 delivers up to 60Nm of torque and assists up to 28mph in the US. TQ's mid-drive is built into the frame rather than bolted onto it, and the battery sits inside the down tube, so the Solace Gravel 30 looks like a conventional gravel bike at a glance. That affects the ride as well as the looks. A slim, integrated drivetrain keeps the bike's weight low and central and keeps the lines clean for bags and mounts.
The 360Wh internal battery sets how far one charge goes, and the frame is listed as Range Extender ready. If your rides run long, you can add capacity down the line rather than buying a bigger bike. A TQ HPR display with Bluetooth and ANT+ connects to a dedicated smartphone app for adjusting assistance and checking the bike's status.
Frame, Fork and Fit
The frame uses Scott's Ride geometry and the Syncros Cable Integration System, which routes cables and hoses through the cockpit and into the frame. The UDH interface means replacement derailleur hangers are easy to find and a drivetrain repair on a long ride is less likely to strand you. The fork is the Solace eRIDE HMF flat mount disc, with an eccentric carbon steerer that tapers from 1 1/4" to 1 1/2".
Geometry is built for stability over speed. Head tube angles run from 69.5 degrees on the XS to 71 degrees on the M through XL, which keeps steering calm on loose descents. Reach ranges from 374mm on the XS to 406mm on the XL across five sizes, so most riders can find a fit without stretching out. The bike carries riders up to 264 lbs, a figure that includes the bike, rider, equipment and any luggage.
Drivetrain, Brakes and Wheels
Shifting comes from SRAM Apex XPLR AXS, a wireless 12-speed gravel group, paired with a single 42-tooth X-Sync chainring and an 11-44 cassette. On an e-bike, a single ring is a sensible choice: the motor handles the steep pitches, and you avoid the extra weight and fuss of a front derailleur. SRAM Apex AXS hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm HS2 rotors provide the stopping power for a heavier bike on long gravel descents.
The Syncros Capital GR 25 alloy wheels carry Schwalbe G-One Overland RaceGuard tires in 700x50. That is a wide, puncture-resistant tire with enough volume to soften chatter on washboard and hold a line on loose gravel. Pedals are not included, so you can fit the ones you ride. The Syncros Campbell iL rear light is already on the bike for dawn and dusk rides.
Who It Suits
At $6,499, the Solace Gravel 30 sits in the middle of the e-gravel market, with wireless shifting and an integrated motor and battery. It suits the rider who wants a gravel bike that goes farther and climbs more easily than they could unassisted, in a frame that still reads as a normal drop-bar bike.
