The Scott Addict Gravel Premium Bike is the top-tier build in Scott's completely reworked Addict Gravel line, and it's built for riders who treat gravel racing the way road racers treat a criterium: fast, technical, and unwilling to compromise on speed just because the surface changed. At $10,499.99, this is a no-limits build, and the frame underneath it backs up the price. Scott claims an HMX carbon frame weight of just 794 grams — a 75-gram drop from the previous Addict Gravel — paired with 57mm of tire clearance, among the widest in the category and enough room to run 2.2-inch mountain bike tires if a route calls for it.
Scott didn't just widen the tire clearance and call it a gravel bike. The frame borrows tube shaping directly from the Addict RC road platform, with airfoil profiles through the down tube, seat tube, and fork legs that carry aero thinking into terrain where aerodynamics usually take a back seat to comfort. The geometry has been revised too: stack is up 10mm and reach is up 10mm over the outgoing Addict Gravel, while Scott shortened the stock cockpit by 10mm to compensate. The net effect is a longer, more stable front end without stretching the rider into a race-day sprint position — this is a bike built to hold its line through washboard and loose gravel at speed, not just survive it.
Power delivery runs through a SRAM Red AXS XPLR E1 groupset, a 13-speed, single-ring drivetrain built specifically for the demands of mixed terrain. The 42t crankset carries an integrated power meter, and it's paired to a wide-range 10-46t cassette that covers steep fire road climbs and fast flat sections without a front derailleur to manage. SRAM Red AXS E1 hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm Paceline X rotors handle stopping power, giving the bike confident, modulated braking on loose descents where a road bike's brake feel would fall apart.
The wheel and cockpit spec reads like a bike built to be raced straight out of the box. Fulcrum Sharq GR Cult Carbon wheels are wrapped in Schwalbe G-One RX Pro Evolution tires at 700x50mm, a tread and width chosen for rolling speed on hardpack gravel with enough volume to smooth out chatter — and with 57mm of frame clearance in reserve for riders who want to go wider for rougher events. Up front, the Syncros SYN IC-R501-CF2 carbon combo bar and stem keeps the cockpit stiff and clean, while the Syncros SP-R101-CF seatpost and Kildala SD-R501 saddle round out a componentry group that Scott's own Syncros brand builds specifically around this frame.
Scott backs this build with details that matter once the bike actually leaves the shop: a replaceable UDH derailleur hanger so a bent hanger doesn't end a race weekend, and a Syncros Save the Day Kit with an integrated tool and tubeless repair kit tucked into the frame, plus a SRAM AXS powerpack to keep the electronic drivetrain charged on longer trips. This is a bike for riders racing long, technical gravel events or building out an adventure-focused drivetrain that still needs to move fast — not a casual weekend cruiser.
