The Fizik Transiro Aeris Short Distance R3 Saddle is built around the forward-rotated position that defines triathlon and time trial riding — flat, aggressive, and sustained for the entire bike leg. Fizik used bike fitting data to shape a saddle that keeps you locked into that position without fighting pressure or discomfort, so the effort goes into the pedals rather than managing where you're sitting. A central cutout relieves sit bone pressure, while extra padding at the nose addresses the area where riders in an aero position carry most of their weight.

The R3 build uses a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and 7x9 Kium alloy rails — a combination that keeps weight and flex in check without moving into full carbon territory. An integrated hydration mount at the rear accepts a bottle cage in a position designed to minimize aerodynamic disruption, and it detaches cleanly when not needed. The rail insertion design also allows for extended fore-aft adjustability, giving you more room to dial in your fit on the aero cockpit.
