The Fizik Tempo Aliante R3 Saddle has been built around long-distance comfort since its original introduction in 2003 — the R3 carries that intent forward with a flatter profile designed to distribute pressure more evenly across the sit bones. A generous central cutout relieves soft-tissue pressure on extended rides, while the wave-shaped transition from wing to nose keeps the saddle from fighting your pedal stroke. Two widths — 145mm and 155mm — let you match the saddle to your actual sit bone measurement rather than guessing.
The Wingflex system allows the outer edges of the shell to flex in response to your leg movement, so the saddle works with you rather than against you over the course of a long ride. Double-density foam beneath the shell adapts to different riding positions, and the carbon-reinforced nylon shell paired with a hollow Kium rail keeps the overall weight in check without moving into full-carbon territory on cost.
