The Fizik Transiro Aeris Long Distance R1 Saddle is built around a simple truth about triathlon riding: when you're in an aggressive forward position for hours, a saddle designed for upright road cycling isn't doing you any favors. The split-nose design relieves pressure on sensitive areas while keeping you stable and supported — padding is deliberately thicker at the nose because that's where you actually sit when you're aero. A rail loop at the nose helps counter the fatigue that comes from any positional asymmetry over long efforts.

The R1 specification means 7x9 carbon rails and a carbon-reinforced nylon shell — keeping the overall weight low without sacrificing the stiffness you need to transfer power cleanly. At the rear, an integrated hydration mount lets you position a bottle cage in a clean, aerodynamic line behind the saddle — and it removes entirely when you don't need it.
