The BXTR's trigger stem is a direct update of the design Oakley used on their original Razor Blade sunglasses, connecting a contemporary frame to one of the brand's most iconic pieces of heritage. The result is a shield-style glass that carries an authentic design lineage while delivering current-generation optical technology.

The frame is built from BiO-Matter® — a plant-based material derived from at least 56% bio-based carbon content that matches the lightweight comfort and structural durability of Oakley's conventional frame materials. At 135mm across (an L fit), the BXTR sits slightly more compact than larger shield frames in the Oakley lineup, making it a better fit for medium-sized faces that want full shield coverage without an oversized look. The high-wrap shield geometry provides broad protection against wind and peripheral exposure, while keeping a clean profile that transitions easily off the bike.

The PRIZM Sapphire lens is built on Plutonite® — Oakley's proprietary lens material that provides 100% protection against UVA, UVB, UVC, and blue light up to 400nm.
