ENVE G SES 6.7 Pro Wheelset Info

The ENVE G SES 6.7 Pro Wheelset is built around a single premise: gravel racing is fast now, and the equipment needs to match. ENVE designed the G SES 6.7 specifically around 44mm and larger tires, with a 35mm internal rim width and asymmetric 60mm front / 67mm rear depth that prioritizes aerodynamic dominance over mixed terrain. These wheels have been raced at the top of the sport — most notably under Florian Vermeersch, Gravel World Champion — and they're manufactured in Ogden, Utah, at ENVE's facility where design, R&D, testing, and production happen under one roof. At 1,580g for the wheelset including tape and valves, the G SES 6.7 Pro doesn't ask you to choose between aero and weight.

35mm Inner Width and Asymmetric Rim Depth

The 35mm internal rim width is the defining dimension of the G SES 6.7. Most gravel wheels optimized for 40-45mm tires use an internal width in the 25-28mm range; 35mm is wide enough that the rim's aerodynamic profile works in concert with the tire rather than fighting it. ENVE's aerodynamic data shows that as tire widths increase, the rim needs to widen proportionally to maintain clean airflow across the sidewall — otherwise, the tire creates a step in the profile that generates drag. The G SES 6.7 eliminates that step. The asymmetric depth — 60mm front, 67mm rear — is not an arbitrary spec split. The deeper rear wheel operates in cleaner, less-disturbed airflow than the front, making the extra depth usable without adding crosswind instability. The front at 60mm balances aerodynamic performance against the handling demands placed on a wheel that needs to steer through variable conditions. Sidewall width is 3.8mm; hole count is 24 front and rear; spokes are Alpina Ultralite.

Wide Hookless Bead

The G SES 6.7 uses ENVE's Wide Hookless Bead technology, adapted from their M Series mountain bike wheels. The hookless bead presents a wider, blunter leading edge at the rim-tire interface, which dissipates impact energy across a broader surface area rather than concentrating it at a single point. The practical result is reduced pinch flat risk and improved impact toughness for carbon rims operating in conditions where rocks, ruts, and hard impacts are a normal part of the course. These wheels are tubeless only — there is no compatibility with clincher or tube-type tires. Recommended tire range is 44-52mm; minimum is 44mm. Maximum tire pressure is 50 psi. Tubeless tape comes pre-applied from the factory; tubeless valves (80mm front, 85mm rear) are included.

INNERDRIVE Pro Hub System

The hubs are ENVE's INNERDRIVE Pro — a step above the standard INNERDRIVE Premium Straight-Pull hub that has been raced at the World Tour level for two seasons. The Pro designation means the hub receives the upgrade kit developed specifically for ENVE's professional teams: a 40-tooth ratchet (up from the standard count), a light-action ratchet spring that reduces drivetrain drag while maintaining reliable engagement, and ENVE PRO Ceramic Bearings throughout. Total hub weight is 281g for the pair (87g front, 194g rear), representing a 60g savings over the standard INNERDRIVE. The Pro hub also uses ENVE's spoke alignment feature, which orients each spoke hole to reduce twisting during tensioning and over the life of the wheel — a detail that contributes to long-term build stability. Hub spacing is 12x100mm front, 12x142mm rear. Centerlock disc brake interface; lockrings sold separately. Freehub options: Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, Campagnolo N3W, Microspline (MS).

Built in the USA

Every G SES rim is manufactured at ENVE's Ogden, Utah facility. That integration — design, engineering, testing, production, and customer support operating in the same building — is what makes US-made meaningful rather than a marketing claim. Individual rim weights are 505g front and 500g rear. Full wheelset weight is 1,580g with tape and valves installed on a Shimano HG freehub. Available in Silver or White decal colorways.

The RA Perspective

The G SES 6.7 Pro is a wheel built for one type of course: fast, open gravel where aerodynamics are actually deciding the outcome. Think Unbound, BWR, or any flat-to-rolling gravel race where you're spending sustained time at 25+ mph. On that type of course, the 6.7 is as fast as a gravel wheel gets. The 35mm internal width is not marketing — it's a real engineering choice that makes 44-50mm tires actually work aerodynamically rather than just fit.

The INNERDRIVE Pro hub upgrade is worth the difference over the standard INNERDRIVE. Ceramic bearings roll noticeably smoother, and the 40t ratchet with light spring gives the hub a clean, quiet pickup that race hubs at this price should deliver. We've seen ENVE hubs hold up well over multiple seasons without service.

The Wide Hookless Bead is an honest tradeoff. Maximum pressure is 50 psi, which is right for 44-50mm tires on most surfaces anyway. You're unlikely to be running 70 psi in a 47mm gravel tire. The impact toughness tradeoff works in the other direction — the rim handles hits better than a hooked carbon rim typically does.

One honest caveat: these are specialist wheels. The 44mm minimum tire size means they don't do double duty on a road bike. If you want a gravel wheelset that can cross over to light road use with a 28-32mm tire, the G SES 4.5 is the right call. If you're building a dedicated gravel race setup and the courses are fast, the 6.7 Pro is the pick.
