The Melee is a customizable frameset that comes in seven different sizes with five fork rake sizes so riders can find their ideal fit. It can run a wide range of tire widths up to 35mm, helping you tackle difficult terrain and weather with speed. All of these options give you a canvas to create your ideal bike. Pair it with your favorite drivetrain, wheelset, and components to complete your dream bike. ENVE recommends SES or Foundation wheels as the top match for this frame.
The ENVE Melee is designed to be fast any time you ride it. They used their Real-World Fast system to design a frame that can deal with any conditions you will encounter in the real world, not just the wind tunnel. Refined tube shapes that compliment the design of ENVE wheels help this frame become as aero as any other on the road. The entire front end is integrated as well, helping it maintain its aero nature. It completely hides any wires or hoses in your system to maintain a sleek look and stay out of the wind.
The frame of the ENVE Melee comes in at just 850 grams, putting it on par with some of the lightest climbing bikes on the market. ENVE has a long history of carbon expertise, so they were able to engineer this frame in the most efficient way possible. Carbon is laid in different ways in different zones depending on the targeted function of a particular area. Characteristics like toughness, stiffness, and compliance can all be modified with carbon layering. All of this is done with no excess material, keeping the weight to the absolute minimum. The ENVE Melee is a unique bike with a customizable fit and real-world performance.
